PHILOSOPHY
I have a keen understanding and respect for the relationship between the game of golf, golf course architecture, and agronomy.
My agronomic philosophy emphasizes playability including firm, fast and true playing surfaces, utilizing sustainable and environmentally conscious practices.
My leadership philosophy can be summed up by a quote from General Patton: ”Lead, follow, or get out of the way.” I believe in surrounding myself with talent and giving them the responsibility to succeed. I place a high value on discipline, cleanliness, and organization, and believe these attributes set the stage for success.
I firmly believe in the importance of playing golf as a superintendent. Understanding the golf course from a players perspective is critical in providing the best possible conditions daily.
